If you are looking for high quality, fun, variety musical entertainment J R Owen is the man you need. I love to play beach and party music all along the Gulf Coast as well as other area inland. I really strive to keep a wide variety of tunes ready to play so that I can please nearly every audience. I love the beach music of course, but I also love Frank Sinatra, Van Morrison, James Taylor and James Brown. I like a little light jazz and I love to play that funky music. In fact there is not much music that I don't like.
In addition to my one man show(guitar and vocals with backing accompaniment) I can readily add a saxophone, a female vocalist, an additional guitarist or steel drum player(Check out the "SPLASH" page if you want a real 'island' sound).
